So this is TE-52. I am very happy with this guitar. When i see her i fell in love. Very nice copie from the original. She is in my hands for 2 months now. Yesterday returned from the service. All the necessary setup is done. The strings was a little bit high. Now is perfect. The guy who done the service was surprised with the quality and the sound. Next upgrades will be the keys and the nutt. We put now 9's strings. I will write and some review how she is sound. Sorry for my english

Very nice pyrate! I really like love that colour combo on Tele's. One day I will also add one to the collection, even if I can't play it! (BTW, your English is fine, much better than Google's )

Question. The tuners are Kluson-Style not original Kluson. Right?

I very much doubt they are Kluson tuners, as they are more than half of the price of this guitar, however, I haven't actually had this guitar in my hands so I can't comment on the quality of them.
According to the reviews I have seen of this guitar, the opinion on the tuners is that they are decent quality but not the best.
How do you rate the tuners? Are they good?
Here are some videos of sound samples of this guitar:

Well, I bit the bullet and bought one...it turned up today, and already I've fitted a Graphtech nut, brass saddles (highly recommended, sustain greatly improved with both nut and saddles done), and polishedthe neck a little (too satin for me). Am halfway through replacing the tuners, but they came missing some parts.
What an amazing value guitar! Heavy but solid, great neck profile, and the Roswell pickups do sound remarkably good....might still swap out the pots & cap and shield it, but it's really good. One thing though, I know I have to get new strings, but all the fret tops grate against the strings (haven't replaced them yet...more D'Addarios vicar...), I tried 0000 wire wool, but I don't think it's enough, so I guess some fret dressing is in order...

I recently became the proud owner of a TE-52 myself. You will not be disappointed. It quickly became my "go to" guitar. The feel, the look, the sound - especially that magical neck pickup - was just superb. A side question, did you order the case as well? It looks great in that plush black. Lastly, could you post some more pictures? I want to know if you got a single solid piece of ash. Again, happy NGD!

Finally completed... Here's all the mods for completeness... - Wilkinson WJN-05 EZ Lock Locking Machine Heads in Black - Graphtech PT5010-00 nut - D'Addario EXL110BT 10-46 strings - CTS 250K pots split shaft - Oak Grigsby 4-way switch (for parallel & series mod) - Sprague Orange Drop capacitor .047uf - Iron Gear Steel Foundry Overwound pickups - Wilkinson WTB bridge with compensated brass saddles - Switchcraft jack - Copper tape shielded cavities - Musiclily Roller Guitar String Trees - Large strap pins - 22 gauge cloth covered wire I turned the control plate around, which meant the CTS pots were too close on one side and forced me to carve out a bit of the pickguard, which made it a little less authentic... But given the glut of black parts on it...oh well. The pickups I changed last - they sounded great, but after a while I noticed the microphonics a little and thought I'd change them. This was honestly overkill, but I do like Iron Gear pickups, great value and sound good too. The sustain is amazing with the nut and saddles, in combination with that lovely thick neck and body. The tuners work really well, but I did have to ream the holes out to get them to fit... Not for the fainthearted on a new guitar... :-)

The tuners on the one that I received were ok but nothing more. Quite stiff but maybe with a little WD-40 in them they would turn more freely.
Didn´t like the frets and it was too heavy for me so I sent it back.

Didn´t like the frets and it was too heavy for me so I sent it back. My tuners were the same, ok but nothing special, hence why I replaced them. The Wilkinson's are great, but meant drilling new holes for the screws, making the post holes bigger and filling the original screw holes (cocktail sticks are a wonderful thing...). As for the weight, I haven't checked it yet, but I'm used to a 6-string Ibanez bass which feels just as heavy... Both have their own gravitational fields... LOL

I need to know if this TE-52 has a humbucker cavity in the neck position?

I need to know if this TE-52 has a humbucker cavity in the neck position? Mine does. I've even installed a humbucker for a short period a little while ago.
