Westone guitars

often seen on ebay but always thought "must be junk" for some reason.
Now realized they come often with Wilkinson Hardware and some models look a lot like HBs.
the headstock on this LP modell also looks like the good ol  Harley Benton l450.
just cant find some deals on Ebay

I don't have one, but I do have something with a similar headstock:

These are imported by a local retailer in Australia, the body seems similar too:

Also with Wilkinson PUs, maybe from the same factory in China?

It does indeed, but it arrived with some issues. The retailer seems to be having a lot of quality control problems, but they have a 100 day free return policy and 3 year warranty, and that has inspired me to order a cherry burst in the same model, which will be here Monday, hopefully.

I see the spec on the Westone says basswood body, SC-450 is mahogany, for a lot less money!

I used to own a Westone Spectrum mx many years ago . It was a good guitar made in the Matsumoku factory Japan but I doubt theyre made in Japan now

Those Westones are in no way related to the Japanese ones made in the 80s.

I had a Westone Thunder 2A 1982 or 83, it cost me £350!!! It was a great guitar, I only wish I still had it.
