what i can say about the TE52 is that:
on the plus side.
tele body shape is correct compared to my MIA tele.
neck is a nice middle C shape(beware it may be to thick if your use to more modern thin C necks)
the lacquer on the body is not to thick.
the 52 labelling can be misleading as the pickups are voiced as a 60’s tele, meaning that on a actual 52 or post 60' tele’s the bridge pickup is hotter than the neck(like on most guitars actually).
on the TE52 its reversed, meaning that the neck pickup is hotter than the bridge pickup.
which gives a particular sound if the neck pick up is selected and in the middle position.
the soldering was good, no cold connections and enough wire of good quality.
the solder is more lead based, which makes it melt faster and makes it easier/quicker(cheaper) for them to solder.
mini pots are good and move smoothly(even better than some more expensive ones).
i expected the knobs to be push on plastic(cheap), but are metal(nice) push on's.
the selector all do being of the box type works as expected.
some tuning pegs where hard turning in the beginning but smoothed out after a while and keep in tune.
the guitar played sitting or standing is well balanced.
personaly i like the wilkinson pickup, they are not cheap sounding have enough body and they can cut trough when needed.
you will have to pay other brands of pickups more than the price of the whole HB and have the same sound.
but you'll have more bragging rights then.
on the contra side
all do the nut is nicely cut the E to e spacing is for a 43mm nut not the 42 it is, meaning it should be a 34mm spacing at the moment is 35mm.
on a personal note i find the strap pins to thick at the end of the taper, the strap doesn’t hold as well
