My first non-trivial mod to a HB. I've owned my TE-70 for a year, and love it. But I missed having a vibrato as I play fingerstyle (Chet Atkins, Merle Travis stuff). Enter the affordable (£22.50) Chinese Bigsby, or Chigsby! The only tricky part was grinding the edge of the bridge, to allow the strings to pass under the tension bar. This took about 30 minutes with a Dremel and a 1/4" sanding drum: I'm pretty pleased with the results - there's no noticeable loss of tone or sustain, and the stock Wilkinson bridge looks great with the vibrato.

Hows the tuning stability ? could you post a link to where you got the bigsby Tuning stability - it's a bit early to say, the fresh strings are still settling in. So far it's fine for my style of playing, as I rarely bend down more than a semitone. Better tuners would help, but with a locking wind the stock tuners are holding pretty well. The bridge presents a challenge, as those brass saddles like to shift around. I had to notch the saddles a little (using a nut file) to stop the strings binding & clicking during a bend. I got the part from Streetwise Guitars in the UK ( eBay link)
