Got given an ovation last week,its a bit of a beater by looks of,but according to serial number made in 81.what a clean sound! And very loud. A diffrent acoustic sound for sure..Any 1 else like or loath?

Soundwise these can be great in the studio and quite useful on stage too. But they always feel to me as though I'm trying to get a tune out of a baby bath, often with the slippery soapy baby still in it. They are torture to keep on your knee and standing up seems to create other roll away problems.

By the way, where can I go to be given such things? I make huffing noises and point at gear as Christmas/ birthdays/ Fathers Day even bl**dy Easter approaches but seem to end up with a bad jumper, a bad book of cartoons and a stollen each time.

Yea they are rather odd shaped!! The electrics dont work on this 1 ,actions a little high. The neck is nice tho rather chunky nice inlays, bridge is diffrent to any of my acoustics.nice idea tho.
