It's a pity that it is a 2015 model, knowing they are not well liked because of the automatic tuners. guydio, tell us if those tuners work well once you got it and played with it.

If you want to hear the sound of the guitar, check this review : Dawson's reviews are always good.

I did think about whether I'd get on with the gforce tuners but having seen a demo video, you then realize how versatile it is. Not only does it tune up, it will change to alternative tunings too. You can even program in you're own settings.
This is like the one I've ordered. This chap seems to know his way round a guitar...

I just refer to the fact that last year there was a lot of complaining about the fact that the gforce is not perfect when doing the autotuning. In some cases you have to finetune by hand. Another reason was the fact that gforce raises the price of the guitar by a very big amount (200+)
Result : This year most Gibson models have no gforce.

If the gforce is no longer produced/ fitted I wonder how Gibson go about warranty claims on the unit if it goes wrong? If the unit does go wrong then I'll refit it with klusons

I've had this guitar for a week now and I must say I'm impressed. The build quality and finishing is excellent, better than I was expecting. I remember not being impressed when in the market for a Les Paul some time ago, sharp fret ends and blemishes etc. The neck is quite wide and takes a little getting used to but feels good. The gforce tuning system seems accurate, stays in tune, and very quick on my guitar so far from being a problem is actually useful to have, certainly no worse than a built in tuner. The p90s sound very good, somewhere in between single coil and humbucker and has the same kind of quack of a good tele.

Very nice , I see the polepieces are slugs and not the usual screws , not that it makes a difference

Simple as they come. Nice looking guitar there guydio. How's the intonation on that wrapover bridge?

Intonation seems fine to my ears and on my tuner. I noticed on my friends custom so model it uses a sloped tunomatic stop tail whereas mine is straight but has the intonated ridges built in, seems to work. Forgot to mention, it resonates like heck.
