Sorry elemenop, the video is not me, it is from a Youtuber called Nico Divincenzo.
I have asked him the question, and invited him to swing by and let us know.

I dont think Harley Benton uses Epiphone pickups. I think they might be made by Shadow for HB guitars. They use those as their generic pups. I think

I mean for the unmarked/generic pups if thats true… that would really explain why these no name pickups on the s580 and te 30 sound better than the wilkinson.i was totally surprised how good they sound. nice information

I think HB generic pups are all ceramic pups and therefore more crispy/more hot sounding than the Wilkinson Alnico pups (I think). So you like ceramic magnet sound better? I like the more warmer, darker sound.

I like the more warmer, darker sound. hm...the S580 got no name pickups (dont know what magnets) and they are very warm sounding, like Gibson pickups IMO. Its not the ceramic alone that makes the sound.

Yes those are "vintage" so likely warmer but if not named vintage then they might be ceramic. But I'm not sure. Ask Thomann they know
