I actually dismissed the TE-90FLT to start with for the same reasons ( the reverse headstock ) but the more I looked at it the more I began to like it. Tuning threw me a bit to start with, but now I'm glad I bought it .... It's just nice to have something a bit different.

The day that guitar comes with a regular headstock, I am all in I'm with you hallon. I have a Squier Showmaster with a reversed headstock, which I bought second-hand as it was cheap. To begin with I thought the look was ok but, to be honest, I never really gelled with it. Yeah, let's hope they will put a regular headstock on there

Maybe if I get one first, I will have a stronger incentive to like it.

For colour blast versions , is that real sandblast or just a paint? Woodgrain is real? The blast-finish looks like it was laminate over the body, without relief.

The blast colour is only colour, and not sandblasted in any shape or form. The wood is straight and no woodgraining is lowered or raised at any way or form. Just paint.
