I just got my www.thomann.de/gb/harley_benton_gs_travel_mahogany.htmSorry for the bad quality pix, don't have my proper camera here, just posting cos' there are no photos of this guitar yet on their website: The guitar is great, very playable straight out the box. There are minor finish marks/discolorations in the guitar body binding, but I don't mind for the price. Obviously, they're copying the Taylor GS-Mini Mahogany, they even copied the bag.

that's a cracking copy - was comsidering a GS Mini a while back but couldn't justify the cost for a guitar for playing in the garden - you've just given me a very bad case of GAS!

It sounds great to me. Obviously it has less bass cos' it's a smaller guitar, but I like the sound. I will probably use it as my nashville tuning guitar.
The action is good out of the box, as are the frets. The frets aren't perfectly level (checked with fret rocker) but there is no buzz or dead spots anywhere.
The string height at the nut is ok, but needs to be reduced a little bit more to achieve perfect height.
This is my first guitar with a V-shape neck, it feels quite different than D or C shape but I don't find it uncomfortable.
The tuners are good and precise, guitar holds tune well.
The intonation is perfect, with the stock strings, in E-standard. I am gonna try it later with 13-55 strings in D standard and see if it can be intonated there too.
The guitar is very easy to play, I have nothing bad to say about it, apart from minor finish imperfections.

The guitar is very easy to play, I was wondering if you tried heavier strings and what strings you ended up liking the best? I am waiting on the mahogany model without pickups. It arrived in San Francisco yesterday and I assume is sitting in Customs so with luck I will have it before the weekend. I am a very new player and my wife has the Taylor GSmini and it is awesome. I just can't quite squeeze another of those in the budget right now. Thanks for the post as there are not enough many about this guitar. I am trying to keep my expectations realistic but even if I have to get a pro setup and fret leveling it should be less than half of the price of the Taylor. Cheers
