I am originally left handed but was forced in childhood to use the right hand instead. But I could still play the guitar with left hand I know this beacuse even today when I play air guitar I play left hand What happened is that when I asked my mother to buy me an acoustic guitar she came home with a right hand guitar and thats how I ended up playing right handed. I guess more guitars to choose from now

When I started playing I tried doing it right handed, however there was no coordination whatsoever between my left and right hand, I flipped over the guitar to left handed style and everything connected. In a way your lucky it worked out right handed, no problems when looking for a new guitar. Most things I do I can do with both hands, certainly the things I learned to do at an older age, but there are some things for which one or the other hand is absolutely dominant and the other one utter crap.

Wait, ... is a drummer right or left handed hm Depends on the position of his hi-hat. At his left hand, most of the time he's right handed. (but true)

Funny thing being left handed, always conscious of how to do things, most right handed people take this for granted and just do it.

Finally made an overview of all my DIY builds, been wanting to do this for weeks. They have been scaled fairly close in proportion to each other. I would have wet dreams sleeping in a room with those, even if it was only a poster of them

(drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) (drool) I think Sandberg make some of the most beautiful (reasonably priced) basses there are! I used to spend hours with their online designer, drooling and wishing I could think of an excuse to warrant buying it! One day... (yes) These are very high on my favourites: This one I also like: Damn it blablas... off to the Sandberg web I go...

Damn it blablas... off to the Sandberg web I go... Have fun. I ran into this one second hand about half a year ago and sort of forgot it again, rediscovered it last Friday and decided that it should be mine after all this time it had been waiting for me. (angel) In real life it looks even better with the 3D textured and colored in woodgrain. The power these double humbuckers can produce is HUGE! Luckily they can also be set up in a lot more subtle way.

So I uploaded a couple of pics to Imgur. Took all of 5 seconds. Photobucket usually takes me up to a half hour, IF it works properly. Nothing but headaches with them. Anyway, here is the link to two photos. The top photo is of all my current, non-HB instruments. The bottom pic is of all of my previous non-HB instruments.

I am of the opion that yes, it will make a difference if you go with a high mass bridge. How much of a difference? Minor Difference for the better? depends if you like it more after Is it worth the price? In my opinion no, unless... If you are spending money on fine tuning the bass, then every little change will have some sort of impact, and all the little bits make up the difference at the end (including... wood!!). If you are replacing just the bridge, then I am of the opinion that there are great simple and cheap bridges that do the job just as well. You know what the say about opinions, but here is mine. I feel that the importance of how a bass sounds is: 1. Playing Style ---BIG GAP---- 2. Strings 3. Pickups ---BIG GAP---- 4. Electronics (not including Preamp, that would go with pickups) ---BIG GAP---- 5. Bridge and tuners (as long as the originals work of course) 6. Fretboard material 7. Body Wood YMMV.
