Hey, so I'm modding my guitar and I want to put a mint green pickguard on it and change the pots. I found this good pickguard on the Vanson guitars shop on Ebay and before I order it or any of the CTS pots, I want to know if they are going to fit since I saw many videos about Pots not fitting on a new pickguard pots: www.ebay.com/itm/131215284751pickguard: www.ebay.com/itm/111268704690?var=410275209704Thanks guys

I guess the main thing is to ensure the shafts fit the knobs. Also some pots will have a little tab to catch against a notch in the pickguard. Might be worth just sending a note to Ben at Vanson. I found him very helpful in the past.

An easy solution is to get a pencil and wrap a bit of sandpaper around it , stick it in the hole and start spinning. youll get a perfect fit in a minute or so. As for the tab just cut it off with a snips, you wont do any harm to the pot , ive done this hundreds of times and never damaged one yet. Hope this helps !

wildturkey But there will never be a case where the hole in the pickguard would be too wide?
