Thomann send me a message that i will receive this guitar tomorrow. I preordered it and should be delivered 15.06. but thomann was quicker. Think i will do my first Unboxing video, although i always thought those videos were silly.....people seem to like it...so why not. Maybe its fun. 30 Subscribers and need some more,so... What do you want to see from the guitar? just playing? I even thought about doing a "how to setup my Harley Benton guitar.." Video. So what do you want me to do? (hide) some ideas would be cool. Will start tomorrow so...be quick if you can please. Cheers

i have to say ill do better the next time or i will not do a unboxing again (went out of my comfort-zone with all the english talking i was to focused on the inlay work and the camera work was ...meeeh. but okay,im still developing. bought a Tripod today i have to add somethings: -This guitar got a different cutaway than the solidbody CST and its hard to reach the 23-24th fret. -the bridge got 2 screws to move it a little bit so you can adjust the intonation. -the output jack was little bit loose...but thats nothing special. - the Tuners feel better and of higher quality than on all the other HBs i have. -its not much louder like a standard electric guitar played dry. -it feels like a standard electric. oh....and its a nice guitar,im sure it will feel really nice after all the setup. but i think i will do the setup video with another guitar because i will need some time with the video and want this guitar finished as soon as possible + its got a bridge where you can almost adjust nothing...so its a bad example. if you want to now something, please ask.

Thanks alot for making these videos man! Lovely guitar but I would not be able to live with it if the inlays are so badly made. I would go with the tortoise one instead which has normal inlays and these cant be that bad due to the little space they take on the fret board. If you dont mind I would like to suggest you make a same intro video for each of your videos because that will look so much better and pro kind And yes use the tripod as much as you can and do the hand camera only when you want to go up and down the guitar to show details. A good idea how to start your videos would be this video or you can find other videos for inspiration but it does look more pro and people like that. Also I LOVE this video were you TALK it just makes me want to see it all and it gets more personal. So please do have some intro talks, your english is perfect so dont worry about that mate. Hening Pauli also has german accent and that is natural but his videos are great because he does get personal when talking and that makes the videos really good! You will get more subscribers this way Im sure!

And one more thing try to always have some nice background behind you and place all your guitars in the background, that also looks much better in my opinion. Sorry for all the suggestions I used to work as a photographer and these details are very important in photography. Thats why I love Hening Paulis videos he places much emphasis on these photo details. I suggest (oh no another suggestion) to take inspiration from his vids, he is doing it totally profs. Keep it up I like what you are doing!

Great videos - subscribed! FWIW, I'd much rather watch honest video reviews from genuine enthusiasts who aren't sponsored.
Shame about the shoddy work on that neck & the inlays. Let us know if it improves any following a cleanup. And here's hoping the factory put a lot of relief in the neck, and it pulls straight successfully!
Edit: don't stress about being out of your comfort zone with all the English - it was very well done I thought.

i know henning pauli aka Eytsch pi. But one thing i dont like is it seems to me he get free stuff ( he said it sometimes) and thomann sends him guitars to demo for free...so hes kind of masterminded (if thats the right word ) . I dont think for example he would have shown the bad inlay work on this guitar. Maybe you are right and maybe you arent As far as I can tell Henning did say that the HB progressive 1000 has a useless cut on the cutaway and that the tuners dont hold in tune for long. He also said that he had issues with intonation on the HB tele (either the pearl or the rosewood). He also said that the ST 62 has a useless tremolo bridge and best to totally avoid it. He also said that one of the HB pedals (cant remember which one) was not that good. And he also talked about his cable damaging the input jack on several HB guitars. I honestly dont think Thomann gives him stuff for free. It doesnt work like that not even with bigger names. He gets only points from people clicking on the thomann link in his videos. Thanks to his videos I bought the L-450plus and I was not disappointed. So far I only got disappointed with the HB guitars he never reviewed I think he does a great job even using T-bone microphones for recording. And at the end he does show us the playing sound of the guitars and pedals which doesnt lie. Most people like Joyo/HB pedals and guitars so I dont think he is lying for Thomann points I mean he has such expensive equipment anyway and makes money as a guitar teacher. If I was putting so much effort in reviewing other brands stuff I too would like some sort of compensation. I mean his videos need time to make, they are very well made.

In one video he got a free shirt from thomann.. There were such things that i thought he could be a little biased.

The inlay work was an easy fix to be honest (made a new thread for it with pics...dont know how to link it here) the guitar is a great player. I just cant recommend it enough. Its on the same level as the l450+ and just slays. Its a semihollow,so it got a massive chunk of mahagony in the middle where the pickps are. Just the "wings" are hollow. this hollowness gives it a light feel and a nice ringing in the sound. Thomann did a great job on this one, dont get scared by the inlay work.maybe i got a bad model. And because i am a Thomann partner now too... Would be nice if you support me with using my Link if you want to buy one or anything else.www.thomann.de/partner_redirect.html?partner_id=49607
