Hi guys I have been viewing the threads on the boards here for a few weeks and thought it was about the right time to as for some advice.
i have a les paul and I am in the market for a less expensive strat type with a chunky neck. i don't want to pay the 700 for a 70s U shaped neck fender.
i like the look of th st 62 in white but prefer the two point trem on the more expensive swamp ash St.
i have also noticed that some of th St have 42.8 and 43mm neck width.
would also look at a TE if the neck was chunkier.
many thanks
Peter

My TE-70 has a chunky neck. I was expecting it to be close to my MIM strat but it's definitely closer to my Gib LP.

My TE70 doesn't have a chunky neck. Te52 has a fat chunky neck. Te70 is almost as think as my St62.

Thanks guys from what I am gathering the ST 62 has the chunkier neck having read all reviews on thomman. The other option I have is to change the neck for a strat neck from all parts. I am assuming that th body on the HB is similar to a strat and the neck would fit? Thanks.
