Hi all, I've ordered the SC-450 P90 GT, but it won't arrive until early May, but I'm already having a look around for some new tuners. From what I've gathered the tuners aren't exactly the best in the world. The ones on them seem to be Kluson type copies, so I would expect them to have 10mm holes. I'm not sure yet if I want the vintage plastic type ones (which are 8mm or so plus bushings)or just a straight swap for something like this: www.thomann.de/de/kluson_ms33c.htmHas anyone changed the tuners on an SC-450 P90 GT? Is there anything I need to be aware of? Cheers

DerAlex, thanks. I've seen those. Did you need the 10mm bushings? Are they even included? Vanson don't mention anything about them on the Ebay page. The 450 Gold Top has different original tuners, which look like they have 10mm holes. On the 450 Plus it would seem to be a straight swap of vintage tuners with 8mm.

I swapped them out with the Vanson ones without changing anything on my L450 GT. Better take off one tuner and ask Ben via ebay if they fit for sure. I also didn´t mess around with the bushings - if I remember correctly they are included. Also ask Ben about it.
Don´t know about the SC450+ as I sold it quite quickly without tinkering with it.
