Yes it has the same neck. But I understood the neck was the same as the one on the Deko SC you got recently that you resold. #perhaps not. On mine it feels similar to the ST-20. A tiny bit thinner if anything. Thats not sounding good! Not good at all! If its anything similar to the SC-550FT which was not the case on the SC-550 PAF that had a normal C from 1st to 5th fret and then going into a more modern D shape on the higher frets! The ST-20 is a Modern C shape very thin, good for speed soloist which Im not! I need a better hold for my chordal playing! The ST-62 and TE-70BP are perfect for me! Will see when I get; if anything is not according to my standards this one will go back and I will try and get another style of P90 guitar instead.

GAS got the best of me! I just paid for it! ... will start a new thread once it arrives this Wednesday! You know, when one thinks about it. Numbers and mathematics play such a large part of our lives. Mostly we do not give the matter much thought and simply allow many things that happen in our lives to orbit outside of our subconscious state.
Have you calculated exactly the number of days there are until Wednesday yet?
Thomann is estimating Tuesday for delievery

I'm always confused as to when a thinner 'C' becomes a 'D'. If it's on the thinner side and flat at the back I guess it's a D. As such the CST24T is the closest HB I have to a D. But it's still not as D-like as my Cort. So it's probably right to call it a modern C.

So much could be wrong with this guitar; too heavy, neck too thin, Roseacer feeling like cardboard (wasn't really bonding with it on the SC550), dead sustain over the 12th fret (in case of light neck material/wood).

I have a V profile telecaster but I cannot say if it is a soft or hard V. FAO Che. If you find the neck is not fat enough for your liking, wrap a plaster around your thumb.

I do no plasters sorry It has to fit or it goes back. I tried modified V shape and I didn't like it. Start style C shape is the best for me! Not too fat nor too thin, just perfect Must wait until Tuesday, then we will see I guess. Even if its do go back I will try and review the guitar properly. I still wonder if the P90's are alnico or not! Thomann only describes Roswell P90 single coils.

Tell me about the noise/hiss levels please. Im thinking to buy this amp for recording but worry it might be too noisy when the volume is cranked. How much can you go on the Volume without getting too much hiss? Or is this a quiet amp, as I can't hear much hiss in Doc Loco's demo?

Simply : my guitar teacher wants to borrow it for recordings, because he's mad of the soud and it is so silent.
Doc's demo his close to the real thing by many aspects. Myself I do not really know how noisy it is when cranked as I push it to 5/6 most of the the time. But I do not remember having heard it bad when pushing more than that. In fact, the guitars are producing more noise than the amp itself ( unavoidable single coil buzz )
This amp is just the best music deal I've ever made... but be aware that it is a Champ => no reverbe, no tone, juste a volume pot... but it loves having pedals plugged in

I would say so. I mean even Gear4Music has a free return within the first 14 days and they even send a UPS driver direct to my door how cool is that!

Yes they give somewhat the same conditions, are treating their customers as well as Thomann does
EDIT : just a few minutes ago, my teacher was there and he had plugged his electro-accoustic guitar on the Fame to play bossa with me. The amp was cranked to 4/5 and at the end, I told him that I wasn't hearing the amp that was put right behind his chair, while I was myself sitting 1.5m in from of him...
... He switched it off and I heared the (huge) difference !
This amp is incredibly silent when it comes to something else thant the soud of the instrument

but be aware that it is a Champ => no reverbe, no tone, juste a volume pot... The Bugera V5 has a Volume and Tone and to be honest the Tone lacked MORE Tone So having Tone doesnt mean much if the amp is too dark to start with. The Reverb on my Bugera V5 was a nice sounding Room reverb. Its a subtle reverb and I prefer more of a Hall or Shimmer variations which my Fender Marine Layer can provide. All I need from this amp is not to be noisy as the LANEY CUB10 is. And this is just the amp noise I talk about. I know single coils can create hum aand that hum I can live with and even manage it by controling my pedals, gain and staying away from noisy sources (laptop, iphones, lights ... ). It will be fun to plug my Bugera V55's 12" speaker into this Sweet baby amp and hear how it sounds
