I love that black SC but the old models of the DC are much better looking IMO

something they dont get right is the material of the fingerboards. on some they say "Ebonol" but on some "Ebony"...im pretty sure they all will have Ebonol.
and its weird that i can see the pics of the Black SG and the white SG on my mobile but not aon my Destop PC

Not sure why HB are choosing only black, white and red DC guitars are they afraid to make a few extra color variations? I mean c'mon, they make them cheap so why not add a few extra colors right? Also, I would love to buy the cheap HB P-bass but the black hi-gloss is putting me off so Im now looking to get a more expensive one even though I have no money for it (my SC-550 ruined me totally). Why not make a few color variations? Im not getting this ... I can buy a new pick-guard if I dont like the white one but painting the body is not something we all know how to do well.

They made a new custom line called DC-Custom What say you? Good or bad ? ... This one just got on my wishlist!!! (yes) And I could use the golden Grovers for my CST-24, cause the DC needs black hardware!

Bolt-on-neck is one of the big differences I can see in the specs.
edit: Also, the bolt-on (student) has 22 frets, set neck has 24.

Biggest difference is the wood, it´s poplar instead of basswood/mahogany. And the neck is maple.

All black should be satin and not gloss, looks soooo much better and no issues with finger prints
