Hello. My name is Tony Butler. I recently purchased a guitar that looks like another that I have. The original is a Gibson LP Double Cut P90 Gold. So when I saw a similar Harley Benton one, going for a good price, I bought it; and its a fab guitar. The only problem is that I cannot find any information about it. It must be an old HB model, as the logo on the headstock looks very different. I got in touch with Thomann customer services, but they had no idea or info about it, as it was not part of their current models. To be honest, I did find that a little strange. I have searched extensively on the net but to no avail. I would appreciate any info that may be out there. Cheers TB

A picture would help. If the lower horn is rounded like in Gibson you have the L-450P90 , If the lower horn is more like ESP guitar its the new SC-450p90.

Here's the Gibson: And here's an old Harley Benton I could find, but no indication of a model name and they are not that similar. The HB is more PRS-like:

Hello. The picture you have posted is the correct one. So it's a L-450P90. Thats great, thank you. Do you know when it was discontinued?

I have tried the model number you have given, but I still can't find any info. The picture you have supplied is correct, but as it is seen, there is no model name. (Sorry, I do not know how to link a picture to a URL, Im old).

The Gibson DC GT is also available with humbuckers (THANKFULLY!). The DC models are not so popular and there are bargains out there.

Could tell me where you found the picture for this illusive PRS Double Cut styled Harley Benton? If anyone else can throw some light on this, I appreciate it. TB

The pictures were returned by a Bing search on " harley benton gold p90". Google won't find them so maybe this guitar never existed

The body cut is obviously a CST rather than a somewhat DC L450 GT P90
The actual CST24T P90 would be fine with this gold top finish

Hey Leo. Thanks for that. The guitar does exist as I have one. I'm beginning to think it is the only one. Not even Thomann knows of its existence. I will try Bing.
And oghkhood, I have a CST24T P90, and this guitar probably was the pre-curser as there are similarities, but the CST model is leaner all round, and a slimmer neck. Cheers for that though.
