Thanks for the comments. "Try to fix it first" is a good concept. I'll give it a try. Cheers.

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

I never wondered what these screws were for. Now I find out it fixes that one shaky tuner I had on my old B-400. I also found out flatwound strings can be cleaned and sound like new too. This cheapest of all my guitars keeps getting better. Glad it worked. Beware overtightening or you'll be searching the house for something "about 'that thick' and about 'that size' - something nylony" to replace it with! I know, I've split one when a headstock crashed against a table edge. I made a new bushing out of a slice of plastic tubing of the right diameter. I now have enough left to make about 999 more. I store it with the 99 spare capacitors.

Hi There ! Got these tuners for $ 16 US from Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ESAEUOU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Made a great difference. No more tuning drifting and strings chasing. They are slightly ( by a few millimeters ) higher than the stock tuners. Now the guitar stays in tune no matter what. They also glide nicer with no stops or jumps. Recommend if anyone is looking for these. Thanks.

That's quite a price difference between Amazon NoName® and Harley Benton. I wonder if these ebay Chinese NoName for 12.99€ are the same. They indicate no ratio.

They all seem to have JN on them, then some code representing the model of guitar they are for. Alhough the amazon ones don't seem to have that number on them and they state a ratio of 18:1 There are some cheaper ones on Aliexpress and they don't get good reviews, maybe they are the same as the ones on amazon. The really cheap ones £7.45 6pcs Guitar String Tuning Pegs Locking Tuners Keys Machine Heads Chrome s.click.aliexpress.com/e/I9ijHFx

So these are cheap and good enough. Good to know. I would still go for the JN labelled type with explicit ratio in the description since they can be had for the same price on ebay but this goes to confirm that prices are inflated at will. At 39€, the Harley Benton tuners look like a bargain next to the 66€ Fender but ebay sells them for 11€.

Well, Counter to popular belief, it seems that Thomann are in it for the money. If you add the 50 Euro for shipment to where I am they are almost 5 times the price. So the set they offer is now at more of the cost of a decent Grover set for instance. At $16 US it's a no brainier. Anything at a $100 for this guitar justify thinking twice. In any case, prices & money aside, the tool plays so much nicer and really shines in some areas. I know there was some criticizes about the PU but they are very nice. Especially the neck one which is full & round sounding to me when used with clean settings. I finally begin to enjoy this tool and it took 4 long months. 2 to get it delivered & another 2 to get it to act the way it should. Hope it helps. Happy New Year !

Can you check that the ratio is really 19:1?

This got me curious and I looked up what I have on my guitars. Tuners on my regular ST-62 are 14:1, those on the ST-62DLX, SC-450 Plus, R-458 and BZ are 16:1. The old B-400 has tuners with a 20:1 ratio.

Adebisi, You get what you pay for. They are not of any special quality on their own but they are way better than the stock HB pegs which came with the guitar. Aside from being "Licking Tuners" they glide into tune rather than jump all over the place. I had several tuning & intonation issues which are now all gone. Thanks.
