Happy new year...... Well, the reason I write this thread, is I just bought a CLD-30SCM. I would like to know, if this model is made in Korea (I read CLD-41 is) And what model is cloning. (I own a CLG-414 cloning a Taylor 414) Thank you very much for your help.

Happy new year to the community! I'm the owner of this guitar and lot of other HB acoustics too, including CLD 41. Would you be so kind and tell me where did you get this information about the CLD 41 is made in Korea. I reed from different sites that "Saein Music Instruments" (Korea) has it's foreign subsidiary in China which makes instruments for different brands including HB in Germany. The address and other ID is not available. The phone number and E-mail address on the home page of this factory is probably not real. I tried to contact with them but for nothing. I contact about it with Thomann but they elude the answer and gave me innuendo like it is a sensitive information and I believed them 'cos we all know that in China the boundaries of legal and un legal are very wide and hazy. But better give us a review of your guitar, are you satisfied with your CLD-30. How do you like the sound and the wood and the playability. Probably it's the cloning of Ibanez and has it's very strong personality because of solid wood and cedar. I like it very much for the playability, but I didn't yet selected the best brand and type of strings for this guitar. Factories EXP-16 sounds gorgeous when new, but for the couple of weeks get numb and dull. Maybe have to try Lifespan or Nanoweb, but for shure Ph. Bronze.
