Hi all,
I have an aftermarket strat neck, with which I would like to build a superstrat. The cheapest / easiest option is to take an ST-20 body and replace all hardware and the neck, providing everything will fit.
Has anyone ever replaced the neck and has the pocket got the fender specs?
Same goes for the bridge, does it anyone know if it lines up correctly (52.5mm or 56.5mm?) and if the body has the correct thickness for a replacement bridge ? I understand that the bullets and affinities are too thin for a standard strat bridge.
thanks in advance, and I may just bite the bullet anyway and add updates here if anyone is interested...

I got round to ordering one, but sad to say it won't work out, straight out of the box. The finish was good, a few imperfections, but no big deal. The bridge was about 1 mm off center, good enough to work with. The problem was the neck pocket, the screw holes were nowhere near where they were supposed to be. One of them was so close to the edge, it was about to fall off. Also the pocket depth was 18mm instead of 16. This means it would need a shim for a regular neck.
