Indeed sir, once I have modded my ST-62MN and added a 7 way G&L Harness made by The Roadhouse and Ironstone Silver pickups + DiMarzio Cruiser in the bridge this guitar is way above many Fenders out there! Same is with my TE-70BP ; Ironstone Alnico III and V pups with the 5 way harness (it will need fret leveling soon as I have plyed this guitar so much one can see my favorite fret positions on the frets )

Lots of HB guitars listed as on request? This seems to be more often than in the past? That's on the Thomann UK site, could be pre brexit measure?

Youtubers have been giving great reviews on the HB's this past few months now. This is how I found mine but went thru Hell getting it.Great reviews equal high demand especially for quality guitars that cost pennies on the dollar compared to rip-off "Name brand" geetars while you get the same quality or better.
The two video's that actually made me buy cheap guitars.....and both of these gem's with adding new p/up's are equal to my custom shops/Prestige Ibanez/Charvels/etc.
Guitar Max is my fave youtube channel.

Then I found even the vibrato works perfectly fine.

It is a new game boyz! The major manufacturer's are now choking to death.Once one high profile musician plays one gig....be it in a dive bar or big arena with an HB,Wolf, etc the game will be changed. My buddy is a small time luthier that builds mainly Gibson copies. He has told me for a decade or more now that Gibson for example has been ripping off people for 40 years now.He said and has done it build a $3k Gibson Standard LP for less then $400 worth of materials.I have seen his products and played them and can verify 100%.

Yes. Famous brands have the possibility to create fantasy value, so they do it. People buy a belief for an extra price. Go further up the price scale and they are buying a status. A $3000 Gibson (or more) is a way of showing others how much they can spend. It lets its buyer enter a more exclusive circle. Back to pure function, a Harley Benton can easily be as satisfying as any other basic guitar once given decent hardware. The wood is fairly inexpensive and cut by machines so once a proven set of data has been acquired, regular quality is ensured. Danger is left to new models or exotic configurations. That 7-string fanfret Telecaster with monorail saddles was reported to be limited in set-up and there have been complaints about the same system in the Fanfret 8-string. That TE-7 is no longer on offer, by the way, and the SC-7 has gone down from 300€ to 200 now. Money will buy extra features, luxury finishes, perfection, singularity, status or fantasy but basic quality has become cheap.

Does the status change when you switch to another country? After checking, it appears the same on other countries websites. Just seems strange popular models especially LP/CST all go to on request. It could be Thomann's new stock system until they have an idea when they will have shipments? Perhaps as someone else said HB are moving more towards shred type models? Could be HB are getting very popular? The SC 550 tobacco sold out this time in around 3 weeks it appears?

Could be HB are getting very popular? The SC 550 tobacco sold out this time in around 3 weeks it appears? I have seen models go to "on demand" then back to being regularly available. The ST-62DLX went through that a few months ago. I have also seen models abruptly disappear from the catalogue. The TE-7 is one of them and several of the first Fusion batch are gone for good too (HH EB Emerald, MN Bengal, MN Charcoal, HSH MN Bengal & MN Charcoal). The SC-7 was drastically remaindered and I suppose won't be returning after the stock is sold. My guess is that the "on demand" models are not being made by factories at the moment so no estimates are given. I suppose they have some rolling schedule over the back catalogue and that status just marks the period in which they intend to make models again but have not yet ordered them. It appears the traditional shapes still sell like crazy so any speculation they would move away from that is to be discarded. New models have been on the modern side of things because the other type sells so well, I suppose. Fanfret, extended range and "fusion pro" are likely a better way to acquire yet more customers.

Stock is ordered at least 3 months in advance. If they get the numbers wrong, and there's a buying rush,it takes months for a new shipment.
Other factors like QC failures at the factories cause more delays.
