Hi all, I recently purchased a Harley Benton SC-550 and I’m looking to replace the machineheads, ideally for some locking tuners.
Can anyone recommend any that are a straight forward replacement?
Many thanks

I used Gotoh SD90. Not to expensive, easy fit and they work well.

SC-550 (had both versions) ;
Thin neck, goes from very thin on the 1st fret then gradually goes a bit thicker but keeps the modern C shape and then in the upper register goes to a slight modern D shape. I would have kept it if the neck was a bit thicker. Roswell pickups as per usual sound life-less. Some here like them but not me. So far I've played Roswell LAF, HAF, FLT, ST-single, TE-single, P90 and none of them were good IMO.
Bottom heavy guitar , great annoyance to play sitting but works fine on strap.
Very good sustain.
Im also not crazy about that Roseacer fretbaord found on CST and SC series but I LOVE the Roseacer that came on my HB Shorty P Bass (looks more like Ebony).
