I've been looking trough all HB guitar on thomann countless times but today is the first time I came across the TE-90 series I really like the Harley Benton TE-90QM HH Trans Blue but it has humbucker pickups and Harley Benton TE-90QM Trans Red has P90 single coil pickups that I really like to have The blue just looks so much better so I'm in a real dilemma

I know what you mean, I really liked that blue colour but I chose the red one with the Wilkinson P90 single coils, they're great pickups IMO.

I must digress I really dislike that marine-blue and only for that reason I didnt want to buy it but I was after a tele like this with humbuckers. Maybe, just maybe, this blue would look good if the fret board was maple but with a dark rosewood fret board and light head stock it just looks wrong to me. Imagine the same guitar just with a light maple fret board, boy oh boy would I be getting that one ages ago.

By the way you can always get a set of humbucker size Warman P90s and put it into the blue tele

I just like blue color better head stock does indent look off but maybe a dark blue file tape/sticker to make it match the color of the body, I've already added Seymour Duncan hum bucker size P90 to my thomann wish list this might actually end up being the first HB not getting black hardware except for L-450+ that got gold hardware instead, the blue one is going into photoshop to see how it can look

I definitely like the red one... the only thing keeping me from buying one is the eternal "do you really need another guitar"-question. To be honest, I probably don't... but it looks great!

I probable don't need another and already have 10 electric guitars. but I don't have a tele or one with P90 pickups, I could go the cheeper way then and just get the red I don't have any Strat we make it a red Strat then Also the Blue looks like it has good version of Wilkinson pickups that would fit nicely into my (sons) RG Mini the answer to this eternal question "do you really need another guitar" is you don't have enough until you have one more

Those pups sure are versatile. Hm, I wonder if Warman or Entwistle have those (must check now) ... With such pickups there is no need for many guitars. One guitar would do for me because these combinations would give you such variety of sounds. Well made choice

These Humbuckers look and sound very nice! And I thought about getting this guitar with them in cream:

I've listened to some youtube demos of them and I really like their sound, and with that added frame with switches it becomes extremely versatile. That black one looks really grate too, but I already have 7 electric 1 acoustic guitars + 2 bass in black and I like to dress black too. so I think I need some color variation even if that blue might look black from afar

Hi guys! I choosed the T-90 with the P90s two weeks ago. I like the red colour and its an amazing good conditioned guitar. I picked the Telly to my bandroom and had a lot of fun this evening to play it, to make it scream The only thing a can say is: THERE IS CRUNCH in the House ) The preference amp for this axe is a VOX AC-30. This language speaks the T-90 P90 especially the bridge-PU really good. BUT... and this is important for me: I play in a Rockband and like to play versatile guitars. I often use the volume-pot and the pickup-switch. And this discipline I don't like too much, cause the neck-PU is a bit muggy and airless for me. I would definitly change the pickups. One thing i have to say: The guitar is great! Really! To build high position P90 is the hardest thing in Pickup-Building. For this few bugs, the Wilkinson are absolutely correct. In my ears they are not good enough to stay in this guitar I like to play on stage. So, finally, I send the P90-Telly return to Thomann and ordered the T-90 in BLUE The blue colour I like better. And I have the option to place new Humbuckers OR P90 Sorry for my bad english... I will try to improve it

yes when you get a guitar with P-90 in it it's not easy to place any other kind of pickup in.
