I can easily sum up the HB guitars that passed in my hands : - CST24 HB : little cosmetic flaws, sold to give place to 3 new guitars, and bought back a year later to the guy, then upgraded with a Duesenberg pup set => 15 days after trying it, a friend of mine, professional guitarist, had got his own and upgraded it with a pair of "not of this world" P94 => => => both guitars are a blast - L550+ Paradise ( owned by a friend ) : flawless, he swapped the pups with a Toneriders AC2 + AC4 => one more blast - Partcaster made of a TE70 neck, TE52 body, gotoh bridge with brass saddles, and Tonerider AC2 set : nice looking guitar, somewhat not as high lvl as the 2 previous, but I do not plan on selling it - L450+ bought as a second hand. Looking good but still sounding flat after long time spent on set up and upgrade .... resold 1 month later - JA60 ... no flaws to report, but just worth the price, nothing more, nothing less => returned within the 15 days
5 guitars, not always that interesting, but I have never met any such big flaw like displayed by this guy.... I must be lucky ....

I've always been baffled by 'could care less' too, when it is surely the case that you 'couldn't care less'. A sure sign that the person speaking is not worth listening to. Many people just repeat things without understanding them. I suppose to "luck out" could mean either to run out of luck or to come out lucky (of a gamble or some dangerous circumstance). I would like to know the history behind it but wouldn't use it because it is an ambiguous expression.

All I want to know is when I can add an avatar picture? Do I need a certain number of posts? I could add mine right when I joined.

Trying to make sense of the English language and the colloquialisms that have been emerged over the past few hundred years, along with modern uses of old phrases, and add in new urban definitions is a senseless endeavor. Take it for what it's worth. Don't look too deeply. All I want to know is when I can add an avatar picture? Do I need a certain number of posts? You can only add a picture to your avatar if your handsome and good looking 🤔

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Trouble is, many phrases mean the opposites of each other. If something is 'dropped' has it been 'not continued with' or 'definitely continued with and released upon the world'. And so on. Language is slippery enough, even more so when it is written, so the advantages of tone are lost.

"We don't need no education".... I've always been a King Crimson guy. At least the lyrics had class.

Gracias senior. It's my new, pre-owned $99 SC-Custom that punches WAY above it's weight. The security guy at Guitar Center wouldn't let me out with the guitar because he didn't believe it was a $99 guitar. ha ha. I had to show him the serial number to match up the receipt. He still didn't believe me. Thought I was scamming a pricey guitar. That's a bargain eddie, I like that finish. Is it all original or has it been modded in anyway?
