Vincent do you play mostly dirty tones? I feel no issues with ODed tone as this buzz gets lost in the dirt but when playing clean/cleanish that zingy buzz does annoy me when I wack those high strings. Maybe I shoud just buy a FUZZ pedal instead on stressing about worn frets No I mostly play with clean tones. But maybe I am lucky that these indents usually have to be really bad before playability becomes an issue. Not the same with every guitar really. Most of my guitars were second user so not all play wear is directly from me and they can be dominent in different places. In the cowboy chord area they don't bother me so much. I don't worry about leveling frets but I can be lazy sometimes and it is easy just to pick up another guitar although when I do get on with the job I usually enjoy it to be honest. And the big reward is after you have lowered the nut slots and set up everything you shoud have a great playing guitar. Well, I have never ruined anything before. When those frets are really worn you will not néed a fuzz pedal, @chedapapa

Over 199 Euro one gets free shipping. When I looked at the total it was 201euro so I thought I'm in free shipping zone. What I failed to see was the 8 euro for shipping being included in the Total so stupid! I've shopped for 193 Euros !!! I could have bought new pack of strings or a new cable or ... Anyway, I'm sharing this so you would check twice before placing the order.

That’s gone up hasn’t it? I’m sure free shipping used to be €100.

That’s gone up hasn’t it? I’m sure free shipping used to be €100. Indeed it was always much cheaper for the UK for some (to me) unknown reason, but for Denamrk it was ALWAYS 199 Euro! BTW, I asked Thomann to help me out as no one normal would pay 193 Eur for this purchase and paying 8 Euros extra for shipping when only 6 Euro was needed to get the free shipping (and 6 euros would get me a set of new strings) Get it?

Im reading mixed reviews on Roswell STA Strat pickups ... Hmmm? ... wonder if they are inconsistent there at Roswell factory? I mean they have been making pickups for max 4-5 years and making pickups is not the simplest thing I assume. If they are inconsistent it could be that some just get nice sounding pu's! Some gig with the stock pups into their Fender Blues Jr's etc and they seem happy with them. I did have these pups on my ST-62MN Black and DID NOT like em! I do have one spare Ironstone bridge pup in case the Middle and Neck are usable! Might even decide to have this guitar with 3 singe coils and then add N+B both in Parallel and in Series (7 way strat). But lets see once I get it ... some time next week as it is stuck someplace in Germany Land for two days! (or they care not to update me). But there is always a chance I just move the entire PG from my ST-62MN and be done with it! BTW, very happy to read that it comes with thick D shape rather than the advertised Modern D! Can't wait to meet this girl

Wow, the package is still sitting at the same spot in Germany ... what happened to DHL ?! They used to be faster! I know Danish post is slow so now DHL being slow means ... If I dont get it by Wednesday I will not get it this week at all because of this long Easter holiday. Ah life is trying to tell me that this order was a wrong thing to do; lost the 8 Euro on unnecessery shipping AND the package might come to me after 2 weeks (it takes less to be shipped to USA)!
Still waiting to hear what Thomann has to say about me paying 8 Euros extra where I could have paid 6 Euros to get free shipping and extra pack of strings ... ongoing drama ...

Thomann just came back to me regarding me ordering for 193 Euro and paying extra 8 euro for shipping. They can understand the situation as it really was only 6 Euro short to get free shipping so they gave me a Free Shipping vaucher for my next purchase UNDER 199 Euro. Great service as per usual.

I mean, frets not leveled, hence fret buzz. Would need tools and time and knowledge to fix this issue! Small crack close to the neck pocket, could be just the lacquere but dunno for sure. The neck pocket might be routed a bit too much on the upper side of the neck heel (one you see from where you play) I fear to take the neck off and look as Thomann might void me warranty and then again appologise by letting me keep this one for free and send me a new one as replacement Unplugged sounds nothing inspiering, and plugged in it sounds as Roswell usually sound; useless, uninspiring and lifeless. But I knew that. Neck as wood and fretboard are really nice looking. The sgape is nowhere near Modern D shape Its the same as on the TE-70BP, C hape that goes into a modern D at the 9th fret towards the higher frets but this does not make it a Modern D shape which it is on the TE-90QM and the TE-90FLT. The PG looks a bit Pink Me woman said "it looks feminine" might be a good song for ballades The pup routing is N single, M single, B Humbucker.Im yet to open the back but its has a very thick trem block which I dont seem to like to be honest. It kind of so happens that each guitar I had with such a thick trem block the tone of the guitar unplugged or plugged lacked in sustain and overtones! I think I prefer the thin trem block. The body color is not OW but rather vintage cream with slight lemon in itbut looks fine and with that Champagne PG it looks pale and sickly so Tort PG would give it life and some pulsating circulation The nut is cut a bit high and might not be glued which is good as that will make me modding it easier (if I keep it but I doubt it). Not heavy and well balanced. Tuners are not the best as you can turn with nothing much happening then they hop. This is same on me ST-62MN and I have no issues with it once its tuned its fine. The saddle screws are very short and in case I need to lift them just a bit more they would fall out. They are ok for 2-2,5 action not more. The high e pole piece on the pups dont align with the high e string Pups too wide so getting hot rails would be a good way to go on this one or get another PG which is better aligned. Fret material looks kind of cheap to me. Have feeling it would wear off rather fast. This guitar looks much better on Thomann photos than in real life. If the PG was as dark as on Thomann then it would look the part.

Must mention; those stainless frets and fretboard on the HB Dynamic were the BEST ones I've had on all the HB guitars I've had in my hands since 2014! Just WOW! Shame they dont do those on these DLX starts!
