I found bridge pickup on sc custom too sharp so i decided to reverse it only in the jole (no wire) after It seems to have achieved the desired sound. Do you think sbout ?
It seems yes of course I have to wait for the opportunity to verify at high volume if indeed the tone is as I wanted it. Gary Moore/Peter Green had his les paul with the neck pickup upside down, even if I'm not mistaken there is also cable inversion hovwever was an setup error but never correct.
P.s i have the same on ine of my epiphone std and work
I'm surprised it works as noticeably on the Epiphone with its uncovered pickups. I was expecting the exposed screws to have a brighter sound than the pickup beneath the cover. The zebra pickups you would think would have a similar response either way round with perhaps a tiny amount of difference due to being able to crank up the screws on the one coil.
"What's that terrible noise?" "Well, it's either the Hoover belt needs replacing or Marc Almond's on Jools again."
Yes, I found they are more brilliant of covered , I don't know if it depends on mine in particular, but in this way I found the tone that i want and however differt to ptophecy (mounts the Gibsons splittable) Gold top instead have probuckers covered (splittable) mount in conventional mode.
