Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and have just received my first HB guitar. What on earth is going on with these things?!?!?! The value for money is just insane! I chose the CST 24HB Tortoise Flame. It arrived in the UK within a week, the fit and finish are superb and the sound and playability are every bit as good as my existing, much more expensive guitars (and surpasses many of them). The only things I had to do to get it how I like them was changing the strings to 11s and swapping the pickup rings, knobs and switch tip (HB got this wrong in my opinion). I guess I'm preaching to the converted here but I can't stop playing the darned thing. I'm even considering selling all my existing guitars and replacing them with HB equivalents - I'd still have great guitars but be considerably richer!

Hi there and welcome aboard! WOW what a nice piece you got there (drool) To be honest I was onto that one but decided in the last minutes to buy the SC-550 Amber Flame which is an awesome guitar. Yes we are all converted We even have one member NAppel who sold all his more expensive gear and now is buy most of the HB guitar catalog. Last week I bought a HB bass JB-75NA Vinatge Series for 42 Euros as a Deko which was marked as "not for playing, for decoration only" yet I still cant find what is wrong with it sounds great and does what its made for.

That has a lovely finish! I'm a new convert as well and loved my HB so much, my 2nd one is on it's way as we speak. Enjoy!

Welcome to the Club! I got a CST-24 BK since a few weeks and can´t stop playing it too! My other guitars didn´t get much attention since I got it. I think that´s the Harley Benton "soul" which cast a spell on us!

Hello! Got the same guitar, my first HB. Quiet happy with it, specially with shape, scale length and look. Can't say it's flawless, counted 4 minor flaws, but just visual/finish things. Pups are bit boring, but ok for the money. Maybe will change to Duncan 59's. Since it is somewhat copy of the PRS Hollowbody, got idea to install piezo on it (with preamp). Probably quiet complicated, but maybe worth trying or at least will study the subject.

I also have the CST24 BK got Seymour Duncan Invader pickups and Liberator for it in the post today. The guitar is just amazing to play on as are all my other HB guitars and Bass. It's grate that we can be different I just don't like with/cream pickup frames and all my guitars get metal knobs Enjoy your guitar until you get your next then that one until the next on repeat

I just don't like with/cream pickup frames and all my guitars get metal knobs Interesting, I have black frames. I thought it depends on Tortoise/Tobacco option, but now I see both can have black frames and then probably creamy ones too. Don't forget to share how new pickups are sounding compared to original Wilkinsons

Hi Mark and welcome to The Harley Benton Club! Nice to hear you being happy with yours. I almost went for this guitar but bought the SC-550 Paradise Amber Flame instead. When you get time show us some pics of your new guitar. We love pics, and audios, and videos, and radios ...
