I just recently bought an SC-550 (Desert Flame Burst here!), and may have a couple things to add: First off - great guitar! Definitely in love with this thing! Secondly, shipping from Thomann to me here in CT took about 15 days. Thirdly, and YMMV here, my local post office refused to drop the thing off at my porch without a signature. I wound up having to go pick it up at the local Post Office - this certainly makes things tougher on the porch pirates out there! MESSAGE DELETED BY MOD Whoa, buddy! Not sure how your day's going, or what caused you to read any amount of whining into that post, but ease up a notch! Personally, I thought 15 days from Germany was pretty damn impressive. That info was there simply to share with anyone else some kind of idea of what timeline to expect. The initial poster mentioned waiting until after the holiday because he wouldn't be around to receive his package. Both my points were intended to allay any of those fears - if he orders the end of this week, for instance, the guitar(s) will probably arrive after he gets back home, and even if the don't, USPS seems fairly protective of the packages as the last-leg in the shipping chain. In short, OP, pull the trigger and make that order! And k2347, maybe think about decaf?

That's a gamble? Depends how much they are knocking off the price? Personally I'd buy full price as most times its only a £10 (not sure what that equates to in dollars) or so reduction. If it was a considerable amount reduction I may be tempted but would expect to have to do some fret work possibly? eddie you never know what your gonna get 😜 I just got the SC550 Paradise Amber Flame as a b stock. It went from 248 euros to 181 euros. $193 American dollars. Other than some slight finish imperfections the thing plays and sounds great. Zero sharp frets.

Good hit 👍 your gamble paid off, I've yet to have a Harley Benton with sharp frets. Had few high frets but nothing too serious. Congratulations on your new guitar. 👍

I just got mine in Flame Burst although it has less red in the burst than expected which I like. Perfect. Only thing is that Im noticing especially on A notes it triggers the 5th strings harmonic in a an annoying ring. However I see a positive side to this which tells my the way its built has great intonation and sustain to the point of becoming a Harmonic Monster. Should have bout 5.

Hollah !!! My SC-550 Black Cherry arrived in US Customs. I'm guessing it'll take 2-3 days to pass. Then it should get to me maybe on Thursday or Friday. Hollah !!! I'm psyched !!! How did the Guitar come out, im currently deciding between the 550 paradise amber and the black cherry. Both stunning looking guitars. Any pictures to share?
