The TE52 is usually considered heavy weight.
But what about the other TE models (TE20, TE30, TE 70, TE80), are they roughly the same weight as the TE52?

My TE80 weighs about 3.8kg. TE52 about 4.8kg. Interesting. 4,8 is quite alot.

Ok so it is probably, at least usually, closer to a TE20, TE30 weightwise than a TE52

My TE-20 is 3.24kg. The TE-52 is 3.97kg. There is quite a bit of variation in weights of even the same model. But nobody has ever described the TE-52 as a light guitar - it's one of HBs heaviest models.

Weight is not a big deal, but I tend to prefer lighter guitars in general.

My TE80 weighs about 3.8kg. TE52 about 4.8kg. Interesting. 4,8 is quite alot. I lied, I bought a set of scales (50kg max limit) and the revised weight is: 4.27kg* The TE80 still shows 3.8kg
*Feels like 5kg

You didn't lie as the incorrect data was not intentional But good to know the correct information, thank you sir. 4,27 is quite heavy as well.

4,27 is quite heavy as well. Yes, it is. It is very noticeable, even when you switch from one that is not that much lighter.

My TE-90QM, whilst not a standard T-style, weighs in at 3.25 Kg. heavier than I thought it would be, but much less than my son's standard squier tele which is 4.3 Kg.
