The amp sold but the guitar didn’t.

DefJef, no it was overnight the over day it jumped from £250 to £370 and just stuck there, I’m very happy with the price and have no plans on getting a new valve amp, I will stick with my cheapo aged Fender jobby. I am thinking of either keeping the guitar or part exing it, it depends on what Anderton’s offer me.

Anderton's offered me £300 for the Part ex, seems incredibly low to me so I'm going to just keep the guitar.

I'm usually so keen to make a successful bid on ebay that I'm watching it right down to the wire and sending my details within a minute! That's my usual behaviour too, and it has been the way of virtually all my other auctions. Re: the Fender Mustang III v1, I usually offer local buyers the option of trying it before they buy it, I see no harm in this approach, unless of course they turn out to be an axe murderer.

Had to open an item unsold case with EBay, slightly annoyed. Case closed so I get a refund of the selling fee.
Don’t know whether to just keep the amp or try to resell when the next max £1 selling fee offer rolls around.

That's true enough, it'll be nice to have it around a little while longer. Not looking forward to transporting it about though!
