I have this beautiful red MS-60 that has seen little use, due to the fact that I cannot get it to intonate properly. As you can see, I have adjusted the bridge all the way, but still the fretted note on all but the D string is sharp. It almost feels like the scale length is a few mm. too short. Do anyone have suggestions to what I could do to fix this?

Not an expert - but measure the length from the nut to the bridge - exactly where the strings pass over the saddles. Should be 610mm.

The length when it is set up like the picture above is 611 on the high E-string and 614 on the low E. Thanks for the link, I started looking closer at my guitar, and realized that while the nut was as low as possible, the string height on the last fret was extremely high, due to a high saddle. And the neck had somewhat of a n-shaped bow to compensate. I lowered the saddle as much as I could, and adjusted he truss rod. It plays better now, as in it is actually playable, but intonation is still a bit off. The saddles are still in the same “wrong” position. The string height is a bit too high on the upper frets. I’ll let the new neck adjustments set for a bit, and see how it plays then. Thanks! 😀

its doubtful you received the guitar with the saddles in this position!!
saddles with a non wound G string should follow this pattern
this may also help!
if its almost intonated with the saddles in these positions there something wrong anyway, have you tried another tuner?

All good suggestions. Proper intonation is dependent on several setup steps. In other words, if certain things aren't done correctly first it may be hard or impossible to get correct intonation. Make sure you get your nut, neck relief, string gauge and string height in order and see if that helps. Its possible the scale is off but in this day and age of CAD and CNC manufacturing its not likely. I've had that issue when building my own DIY guitars but for large scale production they normally nail this. Hope that helps!

Hey. I had the exact same problem with mine. The saddles were backed as far as they could go, and still everything was sharp.
The problem lay with the nut. I had to fill it, remove it, shim it, and recut it. A pain in the neck, but now the intonation is right.
You might be better off just buying a new nut from GraphTeq.

In retrospect, I wish I had bought a new nut, as you suggest. I spent way more than an hour fussing with the dumb thing. I finally got Thomann to send me a replacement bridge. (This required many backs and forths with customer care and the guitar department. Eventually they recognized that it would be far cheaper for them to send me a new bridge than to pay the shipping to return my guitar from America.) I expect to do some setup work, but the amount of work required here was insane. But the bridge buzz was so loud that you could hear it coming through the pickups. I don’t expect to have to replace essential hardware just to make it playable. That said, I have made the guitar play like butter now. So maybe it was worth it. Thanks for your suggestion.
