Ordered on Friday night, delivered in the UK Wednesday morning. Insert generic picture here: Take a look at rockbadger's Tweet: Only had a few minutes to play so far. Action is perfect -low with no buzz. A couple of tiny black marks on the side of the guitar. Front veneer is centred perfectly. 2 piece body visible on back, not centred sadly but looks very nice. Sits really comfortably on the strap and sounding really good. Have to get used to double volume controls and all that but very very pleased so far.

Congrats on that beauty! I love my SC-550PAF Im sure you will enjoy your too! Mine has a 3 part body. Best is to look at the back where the back strap pin is. There you can clearly see how many parts there are. I dont find this an issue because folks see this guitar from the front not the back and it sure does not effect the sound. I must warn you to be very careful with those "security" strap locks! Mine didnt work and the guitar almost dropped to the floor twice!!! So I took them off complained to Thomann about it; they have sent me new ones of the same sort and still they were no good, they seem not able to hold tight (security locks my a.s). So I swapped them for the normal fender pins and now I have no issues and since Im not a stage artist jumping around they suit me perfectly

Yeah, I've heard all about the strap locks, took them off immediately. Does yours have a name? Trying to come up with the right one. It's definitely a 'she' but a rugged sort of girl. The leading contender at the moment is Brida after the character in the Last Kingdom.
