What material is the Nut of a Harley Benton RB-414?
I'm about to order one and wondering if I need to order a new nut while I'm at it as I'm ordering new pickups for it, trying to figure out what else I'll need to swap out.
Looks amazing, sounds amazing watching demos, very excited about grabbing one.

brianjaIf my memory is correct the nut is a plastic. You say it sounds great in the demos so what's the reason for a planned pickup swap ?

the demo in question also had the replacement pickups in it, the pickups brand I've also put into other mods before as well
Ive seen a few demos with the stock pickups and they sounded pretty good, too.
OK so possible new nut as well

THOUGH Let me say this. The pickups in question, if I had a Rickenbacker, I'd replace the pickups as well with these pickups. After seeing the specs of the RB-414, and seeing a few videos of people playing it, I knew I wanted the RB-414 to put the pickups in, a brand Ive already used for my Fender Tele. I just know there's a few things I'll want to also replace on the RB-414 like in this case, the nut. That said, I'm feeling pretty good about grabbing the RB-414, it seems like it has the foundation and look I am very much going for, so thank you Harley Benton!!

brianja Could you please list which replacement pickups you want to put in? Edit: The nut width of ~44mm is quite wide - do you have an idea which nut would fit automatically or would you use just a block and sand it down manually?
