Hi fellow HB-ists I found this little box over at Thomann and wondered if you used it or ever heard of it being of any use? The reviews on Thomann are extremely positive and this little box does not cost that much to improve the tone. So what can you tell me about it and if there are better options than this? Cheers! www.thomann.de/gb/visual_sound_pure_tone_buffer.htm?ref=prod_rel_373791_0

So basically it takes you signal and digitalizes it, to make it better? I think that I would rather have Lee Sklars "Producer Switch", better value for money

There are no knobs on it, can't be any good. Sorry! Couldn't resist this stupid remark. I haven't got a clue what it does or how it works.

This devices is for long signal chains. When someone have a lot of pedals with many cable meters between them, then his tone suffers. The buffers makes the instrument signal strong again.

Thanks Titanium! So lets say if Im to build a pedal board with 5 pedals max do I still need such a buffer device or would that be just a waste of money?

Visual Sound/ TRueTone have some interesting stuff. I was into their Jackyl & Hyde v3 before getting the MXR SBA... but the price tag on it made me cringe. Their H2O is also quite nice... but again, the price tag.
