'Been playing rock n blues bass for a while. Kinda used to my Gretsch and Yamaha. Took delivery of a brand new TB70 SBK. Awesome looks, sound delivered through Ampeg SVT setups all the way. TB 70 plays well, BUT, how does one get rid of the annoying fret buzz on frets one and two right out of the box? I know the TB70 has this weird 3x way bridge. I've adjust it all ways but the fret buzz gremlin exists. Should I get a redesigned higher nut. It seems the only way left on this. Other than that, it plays GREAT !!
Oh yes, the neck dive. Not to worry, fret buzz is more annoying than neck dive. Any suggestions on fret buzz?

Thanks. That’s what I’m suspecting ~ nut height. I’ll get that looked at rather than start filing frets. Thanks.

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

Good question DefJef. It's a TB70 SBK so I'm not so sure neck relief can be adjusted. I'll check.

Good question DefJef. It's a TB70 SBK so I'm not so sure neck relief can be adjusted. I'll check. There is a standard truss rod access from the headstock. Check and adjust the releif before you do anything else. on mine I replaced the original bridge, loved the looks, hated everything else.
