I ordered the DC and I want to order a Kinman hx p90 I can’t find any tech specks. Does anybody know the spacing measurements so I can order the new pickup before I get the guitar.

Dont know. I think its just standard soapbar P90s. I have a Jr and am looking at shimming the pickup up first and changing pots/caps and wiring along with the jack. I wouldnt replace the pickups until you do that. Youd also have a switch to replace. The Harley Bentons are well built guitars...its the electronics and fretwork where they cheap out and to a lesser extent the tuning machines, nut, and bridge. Im going to replace pickups last in my two guitars and do everything else first.

Not the same guitar but the fella in this video, changed his P90D alnico 5 pickup in his HarleyBenton DC-60 for a Bare knuckle Pig90. DC-60 P90 pickup swapThere are Timestamps in the description box the change comes in at 9.45 ish If you do the swap, have a look to see if the magnets are truly Alnico5. The magnets in mine were ceramic. I had the soapbar version in a Te-90 not dogear, but the elec specs are the same. Interesting that he noticed the same drop off in volume with the Roswell P90 on the high E string that I had with mine(@3.57). Changing the magnets to alnico made no difference to the drop off in volume. I did notice that the product code on the bottom of my Roswell pickup differed slightly from the codes on their webpage. Webpage P90S-B-IV on the Harley Benton P90S-BT-IV. Note the inclusion of the T. I wonder if the T denotes 'Made for Thomann'
