Hello, I own a second hand Shorty PB. I'm thinking of upgrading the instrument. I would like to know the experience of people who have already done it and what they have done, mainly I was thinking of changing pick ups and make new electronic.
Is it worth it ?
What components have they put in ?
Thanks
Regards

What components have they put in ? Thanks Regards Usually I would say to just replace the electronics with high quality parts. Alpha pots for example and a Switchcraft jack. Lightweight tuners are quite expensive-but if you want/can reuse them later that could be an option. I like Gotoh GB640. A good replacement bridge is a Gotoh 203b or Fender HiMass. Pickup either try a Tonerider or Fender 62/63. The only must-do in my book are the electronics. But the other mods are easily reversible so if you want to dpend that money: just do it.

Thanks DerAlex, I already changed electronics parts on a HB JB 20, I put CTS components and I m quite satisfy with the upgrade and it's a cheap solution.
