Greetings to everyone. This is my first post and wanted to share some thoughs of mine with all of you. We all know that HB offer great quality/price ratio guitars. Pretty much you can find any kind of guitar in the catalogue (ALMOST). There is one type of guitar that not only HB but other companies seem to stay way from.Going back 15 years ago (or more) there was a good marker for a "mid priced" classic archtop designs from various brands. For around 500 (or a bit less) you could choose something that could be used from an amateur or even a pro with Epi-Washburn-Cort-Hangstom-Loar (to name a few companies) having their varation in this classic design guitar.I know that HB have the "Manhattan Standard" in their line (for 10 years now) but this is not even close to the quality of the type of guitar I am talking about. Propably there is not a "big market" for that kind of thing but I feel that almost every player that play Jazz or old school blues (you get my point) will be tempted to get one if the price is right and the quality similar to "top of the line" HB guitars. What do you guys think ?
