Hi,
I was quite an active member on here years ago! I was a bit manic and crazy and bought a looooot of guitars! Over the summer this year I have sold nearly all of them. All of my electrics, except for my first one. And most of the acoustics, too.
I have actually found my 'dream' acoustic at a local shop here, the Kremona R30. This weekend I'll likely get 2 other Kremona models as the owner of the store is selling them for crazy low prices to me as I am a bit of a Kremona fanatic and want one with electronics inside. Where am I going with this...
I have been holding onto the Harley Benton CLD-41SCE so far. But if I am going to get 2 Kremonas this weekend I have to let it go. It still has the rosewood back and sides and fingerboard. I would love to sell it to someone on the forum here if anyone is interested. I don't have a box currently but I should be able to arrange something this Saturday.
Have a great day!
Marit

Hi Marit
I remember talking about the CLD41 back then! I love mine but have built a guitar since that and bought a couple of others so don't play mine as often either.

Hi Marit. No Big Tone any more? No. Although it does still reside in Den Helder!

Electric or acoustic? Acoustic Marit - I built it in the old Lowden/Avalon factory near my home and used the template for a Lowden O32. It was a luthiery course and took me quite a while and cost around £2k but the guitar sounds amazing.

Great that you have found a guitar you love so much Marit! It looks like a high end version of the CLD41 (same woods, shape etc)!

And I have also found my 'dream' 12 string: the Taylor 254ce. Also spruce top and rosewood back and sides! Just in a grand auditorium model which is nicely comfortable for a 12 string and the Taylors are a dream to play.

Hi Marit I'm glad for the good news but sad to read that you won't be there that much anymore.... I wasnt here for years actually. I was a bit manic at the time buying way too many guitars. Now I am kind of back into it but I really wanna try guitars before I buy them. And just play more and not be so obsessive and buying too much unnecessarily. I have a whole set of acoustic GHS strings which are completely corroded. Such a waste. Luckily D'addario and Martin strings last overtime, lol.
