She arrived!!! (definitely a she, a big-assed she) My lovely neighbours received the package for me She's very lovely, the tone is close to that of an acoustic guitar, haven't tried her electrically yet. Some minusses; - when turning the speedknobs it feels like they're rubbing against the body of the guitar - the toggle switch, I replaced the black knob with a chrome knob that didn't fit (any knob I ever buy - they never fit), but I made it sorta fit... But it's quite loose (the entire switch, not the knob), I could turn it back and forth when fitting the chrome switch which isn't ideal but fixable - the case they suggested for her ( www.thomann.de/nl/thomann_jumbocase.htm ) is too big, frankly, even despite her fat ass - she has some birthmarks (see pics) Here's some pictures! (click on 'em they'll get nice and big) In all her highnesses glory; A real beach body Frets nicely worked off Her birthmarks Gotta love the bindings, same as on the acoustic CLD-41 It's a case of being too big Overall happy with her, I'll take the birthmarks as a positive, will test her out with an amp tomorrow, for now she'll nap in her case, which is so big she could turn over and still fit. Have a nice evening

Oh I didn't mention how badly cut and fitting the pickguard is but that'll be off fairly quickly, in fact might try and do it right now ...

Pickguard OFF! Look who fits in the case too! She's stunning indeed, I'll take some close up pics of the bridge tomorrow as I've just tucked her in and will tuck in myself soon as well. Nighty night! DefJef: yes, that's packing. @im2: if you click on the last picture in my first post you should be able to zoom it in pretty big, maybe that helps.

Lovely orange lady. I'm glad they don't make this one in a lefty version, I'm a bass player and even though guitar is not really my thing I would be seriously tempted to get one.

Yes having a archtop in your harem would always be a good choice. These guitars can give you playing sensations that tno other kind of guitar can give. But you'll have to deserve it as the usual backside is they are much more demanding. And the reward is that the more you give, the more you receive in terms of response, be it in clean fingerstyle to the most energetic punkabilly

Due to musical differences I've decided I can't work with myself any more.

I was just reading the link that Im2 put up and the bridge seems to be pinned in place. Has the design changed? Perhaps marit can clarify. Plus, did you have bridge lean problems like the guys on the aguitar website?
