I think I know what my next purchase will be a fretless P-bass but HB doesnt have such or?

Buy a fretted one, rip out the frets, fill the slots and you're almost there. edit: Oh... I see he's using a P/J, that one is not available at the moment. Than you also need to rout a J cavity and a J bridge pickup.

P, J or soap-bar is not that important, a pickup in the bridge position is, this gives the sound the typical fretless bite. J's and soap-bars are mostly used for their smaller size, they don't claim as much real estate as a P does.

Ok in that case I should just buy the HB fretless jazz bass because I am no good at modding

A Jazz Bass worked out okay for Jaco, so there's no reason why not to go for a Jazz.
