Im not sure I fully understand this Ohm business I am looking at the Bugera V5 Infinium and it has a 4Ohm speaker Out, so I wonder if its possible to plug in the Harley Benton 8Ohm vintage cab?

I'd urge caution. Usually you need to match the amp output and the speaker impedance (ohm). Otherwise you could blow the amp and the speaker.

From that article it should not be an issue except with gaining or loosing Mid range.
Main issue they stress is to always plug in the cab before powering the amp.

I was thinking same thing for my V5 also. 8ohm cabinet will be fine from what I've researched. There are a couple of vids on YouTube showing it in action.

A 4 ohm amp is OK through a 4, 8 or 16 ohm speaker cab. A 8 ohm amp is OK through a 8 or 16 ohm speaker cab. A 16 ohm amp is OK through a 16 ohm speaker cab. If the amps ohms are more than the speaker cab then there is not enough resistance, which may burn out your amp, however it is do-able but I wouldn't risk it.

Thanks mate! So If I get the Harley benton 12" 8ohm vintage cab I will be just fine. Nice!

Probably a better choice for me being in the states. The HB is on my short list though. I haven't had the V5 for a day yet and already thinking cabinet this is a crazy hobby.

Crazy hobby all right. It's never ending. You simply always need something until the day we realize just like Joe Bonamassa that we only need our fingers, our favorite axe and an awesome amp to do the job I have no cash for the Bugera sadly.
