I often hear how solid state amps are great because Dimebag uses it. I personally was never into Dimebags music so could not relate to that. Here I can relate more because in Dimebags playing there is just way too much distortion and nuances are hard to hear but in BB Kings music you clearly can hear it all. So if BB King trusts this solid state amp I can rest assured that some solid state amp are of good tone quality indeed.
I also like the way he cranks the Master volume on his amp but works the guitar volume instead. I will try and do that and see what I come up with tonewise.
I see some Labseries amps second hand in Denmark but they are around 4000 kr so not cheap by any means (for me that is). Would be nice to get one such amp in the future though.
