Parcelforce man has just been with my latest purchase, a 2004 PRS SE Soapbar. I've always liked the sound of P90's, so this looked like a fair bet. It was described as having had the neck broken & repaired, but the photo's weren't great, but I thought I would take a punt anyway. As it turned out, it was a bit of a bargain, the repair isn't the prettiest, but seems well done & it plays & sounds great. Not bad for £95!

Nice one! Wonder how it sounds! Can you record a few minutes; chords, riffing, solo ... when you have time that is. No rush

Quick update. There was a little bit of fre/t buzz around where the neck had been repaired, so I took it to my local guitar tech. He levelled & polished the frets, stuck a set of D'Addario NYXL strings on it & it now plays beautifully.
