How did you remove the factory finish? Was it sandpaper and lots of time?

I wanted a bass that looks old and classic. I didn´t see fiesta red on a 50s bass so far, but I think, that fiesta red is a nice color for such a bass. To remove the old color, it was a lot of word with much of sandpaper, but you can see the really wood of the bass and it´s weight would be not so high. At the end, it was just a lot of fun and I like the bass very much.

very very nice. I wish I had the hands and time to do this. Its really pretty. I own a pb50 to and its a really nice bass...
