I didn't notice those on my Thomann walkthrough last night!
I like the option, I just hope the release some kind of colour that is not Sunburst. In fact, a nice red with maple board and matching headstock would be perfect.

A Music Man Stingray copy with flame maple top and Wilkinson pups for €175? Very nice! What's the deal on stock though? All models show "on request" - is this Thomann secret code for "check back daily"?

Usually that means they are still not sure when they will get them. Hopefully soon they will have an ETA.

The last couple of times I ordered out of stock basses they arrived a week before the " due in stock " date
Think Thomann is just covering themselves in case of delays.

Always interesting to see new models. I won't be going for these myself, but the wider the range, the better IMHO. The electronics on the double humbucker model with coil splitting is a bit like the Fender modern player jazz bass, although with a different body shops of course.
I agree that it would be better if there were more colours available. However, perhaps this will happen with future models. I believe that Thomann tends to buy a small number of a new model, then see how it sells before buying more.

My band's singer ask me to sell him my old but in brand new shape Yamaha CS1X synth i have.If he gives me 200 euros i make a order one of them.I want one 5 stringer and i can't decide wich one, passive or active?
I can see that the passive one is more close to one original MM,shape wise. And i can change the pup more easily with some EMG or SeymoureD if the Benton pup was not good. But to other hand the active have allready Wilkinson.

Depending on how much space is available in the control cavity of the passive version, you may find it much easier to turn the active version into active/passive with a push/pull (or switch) and some rewiring. That way you can have both.

Something is wrong with the active version The passive one is mid scale with 21 frets, and the bridge place(way back like the real MM)and the pup place is the right one.The shape and size of the pickguard is also like the real one. The active one,if you see in the picture, have same scale but 24 frets. The body and the total length is the same between them. They take the bridge way front, the pickguard is very small and the pups is more to the neck side. The Passive one looks more "real" in my eyes. The EMG kit have all the electronics on the pots,so only the battery is the extra thing who maybe needs space in the passive one. I must wait for more pictures of them to judge.

There is definitely something strange about the active one.
Could it be that the body is actually bigger?

I realize that the extra cm is the cm behind the bridge. The ridge pup is in place also, same distance from bridge as the passive one.
