I was curious to hear the difference between nylon and nickel strings, just to get the idea and found this video. I think I will be playing nickel for rock. But on the acoustic I would go with something less buzzy.

after listening to the whole video I think I like the Black nylon and flat wound the best they have a much darker sound. so now I go to thomann.de and look at prices

No offense guys, but you will only become part of the "low side" when you realize that you need a bass for each kind of string... And each kind of pickup... And each colour... Shape... Day...

WoW great job on the Bass I'd never thought to look at these "Deko" instruments & read a forum where a couple of guys had bought them & they had minimal repairs required to make them into great guitars. I'd love another Violin bass, the antique brown colour I've always wanted. I shall be looking into these from now on.
