QC problems have been common with Gibson for too long. Fender as well can be hit or miss, but when they hit it's a belter. Rickenbacker IMHO take the biscuit on QC. There was a time when adjusting the TR or using different strings invalidated the warranty. Oh said warranty started when it left the factory  Orange peel finishes got blamed on the owners and folks complaining on the RIC forum could expect personal attacks from JH. It light of this the HB issues are nothing. |
