I know I mentioned in another thread here that Im to buy the HB Mustang el guitar but after lots of thinkering I decided that Im in serious need of a steel string acoustic and a decent modeling amplifier (I dont have money for all the extra pedals etc). So I just went ahaid and bought a HBO-600 black and a VOX VT-20+ Classic Limited amp. Will update as soon I get them HBO-600
VOX VT-20+ Classic Limited

A lovely looking guitar for the money. Snowflake inlays are nice. I see a compensated saddle too.
I bet it will sound really nice through the JC-120 clean preset on your VT-20+ with a little reverb.

I only hope the frets are leveled. I did write to thomann before buying it that I refuse to buy a guitar with uneven frets so hopefully they have looked at it. Will see when it arrives. I love playing acoustic with little chorus and a bit of reverb as well as some delay at times. I hope this new amp will suit the acoustic too. Looking forward to meet them both soon

Just received my new guitar and already tomorrow I am sending it back so disappointing I am. I have written to Thomann to check my guitar before shipping and they forgot to read my comment, they said they are sorry for somehow not seeing my comment The neck is VERY BAD, it has a huge hump and no truss rod adjustment can fix it. I would have to raise it at least 10mm to be straight! The fret ends sharp as a razor blade, strings have rust on them, and the frets look very old. The fret board is dry as a desert. There is also a strange buzz in the bridge area when playing open strings. The pickup works ok but because of all fret buzzing I could not judge this properly. Sending it back PRONTO! I think low end HB guitars are crap as I have witnessed with ST-20, D-120 and now HBO-600! Not the case with my L-450Plus though. If one wants a decent guitar go for the higher end HB guitars instead. I will save some money and get the HB acoustic one with Grover tuners and bone nuts + Da'adarios (forgot the name).

Sorry it didn't work out che. The positive note is that you know Thomann will make it right.

Damn, that's a real shame. First your D120 with the broken truss rod, now this...

Sorry it didn't work out che. The positive note is that you know Thomann will make it right. Well I must disagree here mate They didn't make it right last time nor will they make it right this time. The 30 day money back is a rule not a help. Im still without an acoustic guitar and when I return it they will not try to suggest any other possibility. They didn't even say that they will make sure to check another HBO-600 this time to make sure its assembled as it should and is playable. They just said they are sorry, but that sorts out nothing for me. The 30 day money back just makes sure they keep me as future customer nothing else. If they haven't had this option they would have lost me already after the ST-20 with uneven frets and I would be buying guitars in a shop where I can play the guitar before purchasing. They know this hence the 30 day money back option to make us feel secure. Its business not a charity.

No such ticket was on the guitar but my L-450Plus had that

Sorry to hear about your issues Che, that sucks.
I was thinking about getting a HBO-600 as well but now I'm starting to change my mind. The worry is, as with my explorer, it sounds like a quick check before leaving the factory would have made it obvious there was an issue.
I agree about the 30 day money back option also, it's better than nothing but it's like getting kicked in the nuts then having the person who did it help you to a chair, really it's the least they could do and ideally they could just stop kicking you in the nuts. In fact we would probably steer clear of them if they didn't bring treats every time (and only kicked us in the nuts sometimes).
If it wasn't for the outrageously fantastic cost to quality ratio of my L-450Plus (and the TE-60 to a lesser degree) I would be tempted to give up, maybe the next note to Thomann should ask for the guy that tests and sets up the L-450Plus' to check it over.

My L-450Plus was most definitely checked when I asked Thomann to do so because it had the quality control ticket and they shipped it 2-3 days later (which is the norm if you want them to check it). This time they somehow didn't see my comment/request and have sent it almost the same day which for me was a clear sign they have not checked it and I was right. Will return it tomorrow and see what I'm to do ... I need a steel string acoustic ...

Mine has no such problems except with one that i just have with the input jack - the nut got loose and dissappeared and the jack went into the guitar. Fortunately, I loosened the string, put my hand through the soundhole and put it right back. The good thing is that the input jack is still working good. My question: what kind of nut is suitable for this kinda jack?

Thomann will know what nut you need and you should try and complain so they send it to you for free. Happy to hear yours was good. I have sent my back for refund.

I agree with you that the 30 day period is because they "have" to do it not because they "want" to do it. I must say that I have found Thomann (and Musicstore) to be the easiest to deal with for these returns.
