Listening to too much Jaco perhaps? Nope. That's why it's inexplicable I'd really like the fretless beatbass but I'm thinking that I should probably get one with fret lines.

I'm GASing for a fretless bass. I don't even play bass (yet) and have never held a fretless instrument. What's going on?! Just go get the HB one from Thomann! You know you want to just do it!

I'm really close to pulling the trigger on a HB fretless beatbass. If I do, I'll postpone changing pickups in the CST-24 HB... decisions... CST24 pups are just fine go for the bass

I got the urge for a fretless some years ago when I was in Italy. As far as I remember, HB didn't make a FL back then and I ended up getting a Squier VM FL jazz.
As I was away from home, it was my only bass for about 7 or 8 months, and in that time it made me a much better player.
When I moved back from Italy, the FL got abandoned for other basses and has only been played now and again (in fact, I am thinking of selling it at the moment).
What I am saying is that although fretless may just be GAS, the time you spend on a fretless can really improve your playing.

You just pushed me over the edge Now... the Fretless Beatbass or the B-450FL..?

Looking forward to seeing it, and seeing how you find it.

Looking forward to seeing it, and seeing how you find it. Me too. I'm both terrified and excited.
